How do I change the station or the colour?
On watches with Garmin's watch face editor (fēnix 8 and 9, Forerunner 570 and 970, Venu 4, Venu X1, vivoactive 6…), open Customize on the watch face. On the others, open the watch face's settings menu on the watch, or the watch face settings in Garmin Connect.
Which station does Auto use?
The nearest station within 50 km of the watch's last known position. Further away, it keeps the previous one, or Bayonne-Boucau. The station's name is shown on the watch face.
Why do the heights differ from my tide table?
Tables can use a different chart datum, and weather moves the real sea level. Times should match within a few minutes.
Does it need my phone or the internet?
No. Tides are computed on the watch and it keeps working offline.
